GE Vernova in Barcelona, Spain seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Wind. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and support commissioning and service throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility; fluent English.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
