GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center to monitor offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will guide commissioning and service phases, analyze data, and collaborate with site teams to drive reliability and optimization across lifecycles.

Requirements include a degree in engineering, wind energy experience, and proficiency with SCADA. Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20% is expected; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems operation knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot on-site.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends/holidays.
