Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona, Spain, seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind). You will monitor turbine performance from a remote hub, support commissioning and service with diagnostics, and drive fault resolution and continuous improvement.

You’ll collaborate with site teams and engineers, read electrical schematics, and apply SCADA data to diagnose issues. Travel up to 20% may be required; fluent English is essential, and EU work eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or equivalent in wind energy sector.
Hands-on wind turbine or equivalent electromechanical experience in operations.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Strong analytical, clear technical communication, calm under pressure, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults and trends.
Contribute to reporting of technical findings and processes.
Support process improvements and operational optimization.
Travel up to 20% and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
