GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to monitor offshore wind assets and ensure safe, efficient operation. You will collaborate with site teams and engineers to diagnose issues, optimize performance, and support commissioning and service activities.

The role requires a engineering degree, wind energy experience, SCADA proficiency, and strong communication skills in English. Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20% is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools
• Fluent English (spoken and written); willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
