Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy). You will monitor offshore wind assets from a remote hub, analyze alarms, and guide commissioning and service activities to keep turbines performing reliably.

In this role you collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, handle remote diagnostics, read electrical schematics, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands‑on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure; collaborative mindset.
• Travel up to 20% of time when required.
• Fluent English; willing to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms and conditions.
• Support commissioning and service through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Analyze operational data for faults, trends and improvements.
• Contribute to process improvement and reporting.
