Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy). You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze alarms, and support remote diagnostics to keep turbines performing reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You will work with site teams and engineers to resolve issues, provide timely technical communications, and participate in continuous improvement, with travel up to 20% and occasional on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and EU work eligibility

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and alarms in a remote operations center
• Support commissioning and service through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams to resolve technical issues and restore performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and improvements
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Provide support during grid outages with safety and compliance focus
