Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona to monitor offshore wind assets and lead remote diagnostics. You will work with site teams and engineers to diagnose issues and ensure reliability.

You will collaborate on optimization, analyze data, and report findings while supporting commissioning and service activities; travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in the wind energy sector.
• Fluent English (spoken and written), willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
