Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to monitor offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will drive detection, analysis and resolution of technical issues to maintain safe, reliable turbine performance across commissioning and service phases, collaborating with site teams and engineering experts.

The role requires an engineering degree, hands-on wind turbine experience, SCADA proficiency, and strong analytical communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on wind energy experience in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
