GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) to monitor offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will collaborate with site teams and engineers to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring safe and reliable performance through commissioning and service phases.

You will need an engineering degree, hands-on wind turbine experience, SCADA proficiency, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); EU work eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support.
