GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to support safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will work with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues ensuring turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You will engage in commissioning and service phases, using SCADA and diagnostics tools, with a rotating weekday shift and on-call rotations.

Formación

• Wind energy sector engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
