Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center focused on offshore wind assets. You will monitor turbine performance, conduct remote diagnostics, and assist field teams to maintain reliability and uptime.

You will collaborate with engineers to analyze data, resolve issues, and implement process improvements while ensuring safety and compliance during grid outage support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and clear technical communication under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluent in English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
