Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center to oversee offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, analyze alarms, and coordinate troubleshooting with site teams and engineering specialists.

You will contribute to commissioning and service activities, leveraging remote diagnostics and data analytics to ensure reliable turbine operation and continuous improvement across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
