Job summary

GE Vernova’s ROC Technical Lead – Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona leads the safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub. You monitor performance, analyze data, and guide commissioning and service activities to keep turbines reliable throughout their lifecycle.

You collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to diagnose and resolve issues, supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
