Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center in Barcelona. You will play a key role across commissioning and service, ensuring turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, supporting continuous improvement and clear reporting of findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
