Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to oversee offshore wind assets, collaborating with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues. You will help ensure safe, efficient operations across commissioning and service phases and drive continuous improvement.

You will lead remote diagnostics, troubleshoot, and guide field teams while coordinating with cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
