Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations to oversee safe, efficient offshore wind asset operation from a remote center. You will work with site teams and engineers to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities include remote diagnostics, incident escalation with clear technical info, and collaboration across engineering teams to identify faults and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on turbine or electromechanical systems in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms from a remote center.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues to restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to address problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
• Contribute to reporting of technical findings and process optimization.
