GE Vernova seeks a Virtualization Product Owner to lead the strategy and roadmap for virtualization in Grid Automation. Based in Bilbao with hybrid options, you will translate market needs into technical plans and guide R&D through development cycles to deliver energy grid solutions.

You will drive product vision, prioritize the roadmap, and collaborate across engineering and marketing to ensure a successful market launch. Global travel is required.

Qualifications

• Formal education in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field is advantageous.
• Proven track record in product management for virtualization or grid tech.
• Experience translating market needs into technical plans for R&D teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive virtualization strategy and roadmap for the Grid Automation portfolio.
• Translate market requirements into clear technical plans for engineering teams.
• Lead backlog management and release timing with a focus on value delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and marketing for market success.
• Use data and feedback loops to improve product performance over time.
• Engage with global teams to align on requirements and milestones.
• Represent the voice of the customer in cross-functional discussions.
• Ensure alignment with QMS and product life cycle documentation.
