Job summary

CHS, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist in our Ocean Freight Operations team to coordinate and optimize vessel schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and cost efficiency. The role collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and regulators to maintain safety and compliance in ocean transport.

This is a hybrid position with an office expectation of about three days per week, offering opportunities to contribute to CHS logistics operations and connect farmers with global markets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain and/or procurement.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics for vessel transport end-to-end.
• Collaborate with terminals, sales and stakeholders on schedules and loads.
• Calculate and negotiate vessel laytime at loading and discharging ports.
• Monitor vessels and contracts to ensure timely execution and assess risks.
• Collaborate to improve transportation processes and reduce costs.
