Welocalize is seeking a native-level Urdu (Romanized) tester for a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme. The on-site role involves evaluating a pre-release AI model in Urdu (Romanized) and testing performance on client devices such as a smartphone and smart glass.

You will help ensure accuracy, naturalness, and localization quality before release. You will work in a private Welocalize office space, using detailed test scripts and documenting any issues with evidence.

Qualifications

• Native-level Urdu (Romanized), written and spoken.
• Comfort with a smartphone and laptop; iOS/Android experience.
• Sharp eye for detail with objective judgement on quality.
• Ability to follow a detailed test script and explain issues in English.
• Experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Review pre-release AI model output in Urdu (Romanized) for accuracy and naturalness.
• Test Urdu (Romanized) vs English for feature parity and non-Latin scripts.
• Spot display or localization issues and document them clearly for developers.
• Re-test after fixes to confirm resolution.
• Provide language-specific usability feedback from a native-level perspective.
• Work on-site in Welocalize office; remote work is not possible for this programme.
