Welocalize seeks a native-level Urdu (Romanized) speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI programme. This on-site role combines evaluating a pre-release AI model in Urdu (Romanized) and testing how it performs on client devices, including a smartphone and smart glass.

You will spot localization issues, document steps to reproduce, and provide language insights to improve usability and accuracy. Working on-site in Welocalize’s secure environment, you’ll collaborate with linguists and

Formación

Native-level Urdu (Romanized) speaker, written and spoken.
Sharp eye for detail and objective judgment when assessing quality.
Ability to work independently, follow detailed test scripts, and explain issues in English.
Experience in software/app testing or localization QA is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Review pre-release AI model output in Urdu (Romanized) and judge it for accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and quality.
Test the Urdu (Romanized) experience against the English one, ensure feature parity and handle non-Latin scripts.
Spot display or localization issues and document steps to reproduce with device and locale details.
Write clear, reproducible issues so developers can reproduce and verify fixes.
Provide language and usability insights on navigation and nuances specific to Urdu (Romanized).
Work on-site in a private, secure Welocalize office; remote work is not possible for this programme.
Support other linguistic projects as needed.
