Job summary

BCD Travel has an opening for a Remote Travel Agent responsible for researching and confirming reservations across Europe. You will uphold client travel policies, offer expert consultation, and handle regulatory requirements to ensure compliant bookings.

The role requires experience as a Travel Agent, strong communication in French and English, and proficiency with Amadeus. Flexible hours and remote work are offered, with salary guidelines depending on country and experience.

Travel Agent (Remote)

As a Travel Agent, you will

• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations
• Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with client to provide suggestions for improvement
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported

About You

• Prior Travel Agent experience
• Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Skills in GDS Amadeus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English

The expected annual gross salary ranges by country are as follows:

• Spain: 23,000-27,000 EUR
• France: 23,000-27,000 EUR

The final salary offered will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, and will be determined in line with internal equity.
