BlueWalker Capital seeks engineers to own end-to-end order execution, from submission to risk controls. You will work in Python for high-velocity services and Rust for latency-critical components in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You’ll design robust systems, reduce latency, and extend the platform to new venues as research grows. A strong quantitative background and production experience in trading systems are highly valued.

Formación

• Strong production experience in Python, including asyncio and WebSocket clients.
• Proven Rust production experience with ownership, lifetimes, and generics.
• Experience designing latency-sensitive, fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with DevOps, containers, and Linux environments.
• Background in statistics, math, or physics is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end order execution path: submission, fills, cancellations, retries, and lifecycle state tracking.
• Build and maintain risk controls: exposure limits, drawdown monitoring, kill switches, alerting.
• Profile and optimise latency-sensitive paths with measurable gains.
• Make forward-looking architectural decisions balancing risk, performance, cost, and maintainability.
• Stress-test critical systems for robustness and clarity; extend platform to new venues.
