Align Technology, Inc. is seeking a Total Rewards Specialist EMEA to join the Human Resources team in Spain.

You will support compensation and benefits processes across EMEA, performing data analysis, market research, job evaluation and vendor coordination. The role requires at least 2 years of international compensation and benefits experience, a bachelor’s degree, strong Excel skills and excellent English communication.

Formación

  • Coordinate vendor activity with market data providers and insurers.
  • Prepare recurring compensation and benefits metrics for management.

About this opportunity

Align is the industry leader and innovator in medical devices, focused on revolutionizing the dental and orthodontic industry. Align, the makers of Invisalign®, is looking for a Total Rewards Specialist EMEA.

This role will be part of the regional Compensation & Benefits team and will support the administration, analysis, and execution of compensation and benefits programs across EMEA. The Total Rewards Specialist EMEA will apply developing professional expertise to support compensation and benefits processes, market data activities, job evaluation requests, vendor coordination, and regional program administration.

The role will work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data and situations requires review of a variety of factors. The incumbent will exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions and will build productive working relationships with internal HR/business stakeholders and external providers.

This position reports to the Director, People Operations Total Rewards & Mobility EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support market analyses and job evaluation activities for job creation and reclassification requests, reviewing business input, internal equity and external market data to contribute to recommendations on job grade, incentive eligibility and job title.
  • Participate in annual country-specific salary, benefits and salary increase surveys, coordinating inputs with market data providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support compensation analyses and modeling, including compa-ratio, salary range, market positioning, equity/market adjustment and other standard compensation analyses, following defined methodologies and procedures.
  • Maintain regional salary market data in Excel and provider-specific databases, supporting job matching, pricing activities and annual salary range review inputs.
  • Support the maintenance of country-specific benefits data in partnership with the global insurance broker and local HR teams.
  • Assist with benchmarking activities related to employee benefits and identify observations or potential opportunities for review by the Total Rewards team.
  • Prepare compensation and benefits education, communication and materials that are consistent across lines of business and geographies while reflecting local relevance.
  • Support training and communication activities on compensation and benefits fundamentals, as required.
  • Monitor compensation and benefits trends, developments and applicable legislation, escalating relevant updates to the Total Rewards team.
  • Participate in the annual regional compensation planning process by supporting data preparation, communications, HRIS coordination and process administration.
  • Assist compensation planners and HR business partners during the compensation planning cycle, responding to routine questions and escalating complex matters as appropriate.
  • Support vendor coordination activities with market data providers, insurers and/or local brokers, helping maintain productive working relationships and timely deliverables.
  • Prepare recurring compensation and benefits metrics and reports for management review, as needed.
  • Support regional projects and other Total Rewards activities as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Finance, Statistics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of directly related international compensation and benefits experience, preferably gained in a multinational or international company.
  • Developing professional knowledge of compensation and benefits concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Ability to apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of compensation and benefits-related issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to review data from a variety of sources to support recommendations.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with HR, business stakeholders and external providers.
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practice.
  • Team player with collaborative mindset and willingness to support regional Total Rewards processes and projects.
