Job summary

Barrington James partners with an innovative MRI company expanding across Spain and Portugal, seeking an experienced medical imaging sales professional to own the Iberian territory and drive sustained commercial growth.

You will develop new business with public and private hospitals, imaging clinics, and university medical centres; manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing; build strong relationships with radiologists, procurement teams, and clinical leaders to ensure long-term

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in medical imaging.
• MRI sales experience essential.
• Strong network in the Spanish and/or Portuguese radiology market.
• Proven track record in capital equipment sales and complex sales cycles.
• Understanding of hospital procurement and public tender processes.

I’m partnering with an innovative MRI company looking to expand its presence across Spain and Portugal. With next-generation imaging technology and ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical imaging sales professional to take ownership of a territory and drive commercial growth.

The role

• Take responsibility for developing MRI sales across Spain and Portugal.
• Identify and win new business across public and private hospitals, university medical centres, imaging clinics and hospital groups.
• Build strong relationships with radiologists, Heads of Radiology, clinical stakeholders and procurement teams.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and product presentations through to negotiations and closing.
• Develop territory plans, identify growth opportunities and consistently work towards sales targets.
• Navigate hospital tenders, capital equipment budgets and complex purchasing processes.
• Collaborate with clinical applications and service teams to support installations and long-term customer relationships.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience within medical imaging, with MRI sales experience essential
• Experience across relevant medical imaging sectors including radiology, AI imaging, ultrasound, CT, and X-ray
• A strong network across the Spanish and/or Portuguese radiology market.
• A proven track record in capital equipment sales and managing complex sales cycles.
• Understanding of hospital procurement and public tender processes.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is an advantage.
• Based in Spain or Portugal, with a willingness to travel throughout the territory.
