Hitachi Energy Spain is seeking a Tendering Manager to lead cross-functional bids for complex energy projects in Madrid. You will shape technical and commercial offers, manage costs, and ensure profitability while coordinating input from finance, legal, tax, and SCM.

You will work in a multinational team, require fluent Spanish and English, and bring at least 3 years in tendering or related roles within power/grid environments, with a strong focus on risk management and customer value creation.

Formación

• University degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years in tendering, sales or commercial roles within project-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of commercial terms, pricing, and risk management.
• Solid understanding of electric power systems.
• Experience in cross-functional and international teams; fluent Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and manage tenders, bids, estimates and quotations aligned to customer needs.
• Define optimal technical and commercial solutions ensuring profitability.
• Develop and manage the full cost model, including pricing and cash flow.
• Lead cross-functional tender teams to ensure timely inputs.
• Identify and manage risks, leading the Risk Review process.
• Support and, when required, lead negotiations with customers.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, tax, insurance and SCM on offers.
• Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors with Supply Chain; document handovers.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout tendering and sales.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.

How you will make an impact

• Prepare and managetenders, bids, estimates and quotationsin line with customer requirements and internal targets.
• Define optimaltechnical and commercial solutions, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness and profitability.

• Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors in cooperation with Supply Chain.Ensure properdocumentation, reporting, and handoverof won orders to the execution teams.
• Maintain strongcustomer relationshipsthroughout the tendering and sales process.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.

Your background

• University Degree in a relevant field.
• Min 3 yearsin tendering, sales or commercial roles within project-based environments (power grids, offshore, EPC preferred).
• Strong knowledge ofcommercial terms & conditionsand risk management.Solid understanding ofelectric power systems.
• Proven ability to work incross-functional and international teams.
• Strong ownership, customer focus and structured way of working.Strong commercial and tendering background.
• Experience in complex projects and cost-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Spanish and strong professional proficiency in English are required. French is an advantage.
