Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a committed Steward to join the Culinary team. This temporary role ensures cleanliness and organization of all crockery, glassware, and utensils, supporting kitchens and banquet facilities. The position involves a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and requires Spanish fluency.

You will work with Culinary and F&B teams to maintain high hygiene and safety standards while contributing to smooth operations and a positive team environment.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a Stewarding or similar role.
• Physical ability to remain standing for extended periods and handle moderate lifting tasks.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; English knowledge will be considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Clean, sanitize, and properly store crockery, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchens, stewarding areas, storage rooms, and banquet back-of-house areas.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure clean equipment is readily available and properly organized for operational teams.
• Support cleanliness and order across all food production and service areas.
• Follow hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs proactively.
• Support waste management and recycling procedures according to hotel standards.
• Collaborate effectively with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
