Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a committed Steward to join our Culinary team in a temporary role covering a leave of absence. You will ensure cleanliness, organization, and availability of crockery, glassware, cutlery, and utensils to support kitchen, restaurant, and banquet operations.

The role requires flexibility for a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and a strong focus on hygiene and teamwork. Fluency in Spanish is required, with English as an asset.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Stewarding or similar role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and quality standards.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Shifts include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Spanish fluency required; English is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Clean, sanitize, and store crockery, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchens, stewarding areas, storage rooms, and banquet areas.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure clean equipment is readily available and properly organized for teams.
• Support cleanliness and order across all food production and service areas.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs proactively.
• Support waste management and recycling procedures per hotel standards.
• Collaborate with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams for operational efficiency.
