Markem-Imaje in Spain is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our technical service team in your assigned area, providing on-site support to local customers and helping them optimize uptime with our innovative equipment.

You will travel to customer sites, receive training, complete detailed service reports, and collaborate with Sales to drive revenue while keeping the highest customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Field service or technical service experience.
• Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, or Mechanics.
• Fluency in Spanish; upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-installations, installations, and maintenance of our equipment.
• Deliver internal and external technical training as required.
• Complete service reports with time, parts, and billing details.
• Promote MI service solutions to maximize uptime and sales.
• Collaborate with Sales to build relationships and meet revenue targets.
• Travel to customer sites within assigned area; occasional travel for training/meetings.

As Field Service Engineer you will be a part of our technical service team in Spain (in your assigned area), providing technical support to our local customers.

What You Will Do

• Perform pre-installations, installations, and maintenance activities for our equipment.
• Deliver technical training both internally and externally as required.
• Complete service reports accurately, noting time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes, installed base data maintenance (serial number, ink, counter value, functional location), reverse flow, billing block code, and billing request confirmation.
• Promote MI service solutions to maximize customer uptime and sales growth, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to build strong relationships and assist in achieving revenue targets.
• Travel to customer sites within your assigned area, with occasional national or international travel for training and meetings.

What You Need To Have

• Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer.
• Technical qualification or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, or Mechanics.
• Strong interest in emerging tech and proactive continuous learning.
• Prior experience with software and a strong understanding of software logic is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Vision Cameras a plus.
• Ability to technically assess situations and issues, and proactively advise on solutions.
• Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and upper-intermediate level of English.
