AlphaESS Iberia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to act as the technical interface for energy storage products. You will guide on-site installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting for ESS projects across Europe, supporting distributors and service partners.

You will diagnose complex issues, coordinate with R&D, and deliver technical training while ensuring accurate service records and high customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Renewable Energy or related field.
• Experience in energy storage, photovoltaic, inverter, battery systems or related electrical industries preferred.
• Solid electrical and system knowledge with ability to diagnose onsite issues and troubleshoot.
• Hands-on experience in onsite installation, commissioning or technical service.
• Familiarity with Modbus, CAN and TCP/IP protocols preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with customers, installers and internal teams.
• Customer-oriented, proactive and capable of independent problem resolution.
• Fluent in Spanish and English as working languages.
• Willingness to travel within Europe when required; Driving licence Class B.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the technical interface for energy storage products, supporting distributors, installers, and service partners.
• Provide onsite installation guidance, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of ESS.
• Support technical analysis for residential and commercial/industrial ESS projects including EMS, inverter, and battery system issues.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to drive resolution and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with R&D and product teams to feedback onsite issues and improve products.
• Collect and organize onsite data, service reports and documentation for accurate records.
• Provide technical training to distributors, installers, and service partners on installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical interface for the company’s energy storage products, providing professional technical support to distributors, installers, and service partners throughout project delivery and after-sales processes
• Responsible for onsite installation guidance, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of energy storage systems, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve system issues
• Support technical analysis for residential and C&I ESS projects, including communication, EMS, inverter, and battery system related issues
• Handle customer complaints and technical escalation cases, coordinate internal resources, and drive issue resolution to improve customer satisfaction
• Maintain close communication with R&D and product teams, provide feedback on onsite issues and product improvement suggestions, and support continuous product optimization
• Collect and organize onsite operational data, service reports, and technical documentation to ensure accurate and complete service records
• Provide technical training to distributors, installers, and service partners, covering product installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related field
• Experience in energy storage, photovoltaic, inverter, battery systems, or related electrical industries is preferre
• Solid electrical and system knowledge with the ability to independently analyze onsite issues and perform troubleshootin
• Hands-on experience in onsite installation, commissioning, or technical servic
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, and TCP/IP is preferre
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently with customers, installers, and internal team
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently and driving problem resolution
• Fluent in both Spanish and English as working language
• Willingness to travel within Europe when requireDriving licence: Class B
