Hopewind is seeking a field service engineer to provide local field service activities for PV/BESS projects, including remote and onsite support, commissioning and troubleshooting. This role also involves training distributors to build reliable service networks across EU areas.

You will analyze field service issues and report to HQ, support inventory management of spare units, and work on cost reduction and service improvements. English fluency required; German or Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• 2+ years as field service engineer in PV/BESS industry.
• Experience commissioning C&I for utility-scale projects and solving service issues.
• Fluent in English; German or Spanish is a plus.
• Self-starter mindset with bias for action.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Providing local field service activities, including remote & onsite technical support, commissioning and troubleshooting support for PV&BESS project
• Training distributors and third-party companies to make reliable service networks locally (covering EU areas)
• Analyzing & reporting field service issues to HQ formally and providing reports upon request from customers
• Support HQ team to manage the local spare units inventory
• Evaluating service costs/cause for service and then responding to reduce cost/service cases efficiently, and professionally

Qualifications

• Experience as a field service engineer in the PV&BESS industry (at least 2 years);
• Experience of commissioning C&I, and utility scales projects and solve service issues professionally.
• Must fluent in English both oral and write, speak German or Spanish is a plus
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to chart a course through ambiguity and a bias for action.
