Liberty Mutual Reinsurance in Madrid is seeking an Accounting and Reporting professional responsible for the accounting and reporting activities for assigned reinsurance accounts and markets. You will help develop and monitor completeness and accuracy controls on reinsurance activity and provide internal and external support related to the dedicated clients and markets.

• Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or other Business degree preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with Reinsurance Accounting (Treaty & Facultative) and understanding of technical booking and reporting processes.
• P&C insurance industry experience in Reinsurance Accounting or Controlling.

Descripción del empleo

You are responsible for the Accounting and Reporting activities associated with assigned Reinsurance accounts and/or markets.

This position will also be responsible for developing and monitoring reinsurance completeness and accuracy controls on assigned reinsurance activity and internal and external support needed related to the dedicated clients/markets and responsibilities.

Skills and Experience

• P&C insurance industry experience in Reinsurance Accounting or Controlling
• Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or other Business degree preferred
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with Reinsurance Accounting (Treaty & Facultative) and understanding of technical booking and reporting processes
• Strong organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills necessary to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate with others, adapt to change and accept challenging assignments
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal (Spanish/English)
• Organizational, analytical, documentation and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within a diverse environment and under time pressure during key periods of the year
