Liberty Mutual Reinsurance is seeking an Accounting and Reporting professional in Madrid to oversee accounting and reporting for assigned reinsurance accounts and markets.

The role involves developing and monitoring completeness and accuracy controls with internal and external stakeholders, supporting dedicated clients and markets, and coordinating with teams in both Spanish and English.

Formación

• P&C insurance experience in Reinsurance Accounting or Controlling.
• Knowledge of Treaty & Facultative reinsurance accounting processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Handle Accounting and Reporting activities for assigned Reinsurance accounts/markets.
• Develop and monitor completeness and accuracy controls on reinsurance activity.
• Provide internal and external support related to dedicated clients/markets.

Descripción del empleo

You are responsible for the Accounting and Reporting activities associated with assigned Reinsurance accounts and/or markets.

This position will also be responsible for developing and monitoring reinsurance completeness and accuracy controls on assigned reinsurance activity and internal and external support needed related to the dedicated clients/markets and responsibilities.

Skills and Experience

• P&C insurance industry experience in Reinsurance Accounting or Controlling
• Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or other Business degree preferred
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with Reinsurance Accounting (Treaty & Facultative) and understanding of technical booking and reporting processes
• Strong organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills necessary to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate with others, adapt to change and accept challenging assignments
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal (Spanish/English)
• Organizational, analytical, documentation and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within a diverse environment and under time pressure during key periods of the year
