UST España Latam busca un Tech Lead especializado en Java y Kafka con experiencia en el sector bancario. El candidato debe ser altamente autónomo, capaz de tomar ownership y resolver desafíos en entornos regulados.

Ubicación: Hybrid, Madrid centro (Sol). 3 días a la semana en oficina. Nivel de inglés C1 obligatorio y español deseable. Se valora experiencia en pipelines CI/CD y herramientas de despliegue.

Formación

• Experiencia con Java y Spring Boot en entornos regulatorios.
• Conocimientos sólidos de Oracle PL/SQL (DB19 preferente).
• Experiencia en integraciones, gestión de interfaces y scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Proveer experiencia con Java y Spring Boot en sistemas bancarios.
• Gestión de APIs REST, JSON y XML; soporte e integración de sistemas.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Tech Lead specialized in Java and Kafka with a strong background in the banking sector. This role requires a highly autonomous professional who can take ownership, proactively solve complex challenges, and operate independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Language: English is a must. Spanish desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Proven experience with Java, including Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (DB19 preferred).
• Hands-on experience with system integrations, interface management, and scripting.
• Solid background in Kafka and/or IBM MQ (mandatory).
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Experience across the application lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of deployment and orchestration tools, particularly Octopus Deploy (Jenkins is a plus).
• Experience working with GitHub and/or GitLab.
• English Level required: C1

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging.
• Understanding of investment products and financial instruments.
• Experience within financial markets or capital markets environments.

Work schedule

Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
