UST España Latam is seeking an IT Service Owner DBA specialized in Oracle19c and PL/SQL, based in Madrid with hybrid work. The role requires the ability to own complex challenges in a regulated banking environment and to communicate effectively in English (C1).

The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle skills, experience with system integrations and scripting, and a track record in banking or wealth management projects. 3 days per week in the office in Madrid city center.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a IT Service Owner DBA specialized in Oracle19c and PL/SQL with a strong background in the banking sector. This role requires a highly autonomous professional who can take ownership, proactively solve complex challenges, and operate independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Language: English is a must. Spanish desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and DB19
• Hands-on experience with system integrations, interface management, and scripting..
• Proven experience in the banking sector and/or wealth management projects.
• English Level required: C1

Nice to Have

• Experience with Java, including Spring Boot.
• Background in Kafka and/or IBM MQ
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Experience across the application lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of deployment and orchestration tools, particularly Octopus Deploy (Jenkins is a plus).
• Experience working with GitHub and/or GitLab.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging.
• Understanding of investment products and financial instruments.
• Experience within financial markets or capital markets environments.

Work schedule

Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
