Job summary

Costa Navarino is seeking a Team Leader, Bar to lead the daily bar operations and oversee a small team at our luxury resort in Messinia, Greece. You will ensure consistent beverage quality, excellent guest service, and effective supervision in line with Brand Standards.

We are looking for a Team Leader, Bar to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will support the daily operation of the bar by coordinating the team, overseeing preparation and ensuring consistent beverage quality and excellent guest service in line with company and Brand Standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily bar preparation and service activities according to operational needs and Brand Standards.
• Ensure equipment is clean, safe and in good working condition.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menus, beverage recipes, cocktails and available products.
• Welcome guests, take and serve orders accurately and support selling and upselling.
• Supervise and support the team during service, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
• Monitor stock levels and support ordering, inventory and basic operational reporting.
• Handle guest concerns and ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service, company policies, SOPs and Health & Safe

Requirements

• High School Diploma. Hospitality or bar training is an advantage.
• Relevant bar service and team supervision experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage recipes and equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge of POS systems.
• Strong guest service, selling and upselling skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Strong team supervision, training and delegation skills, with good planning and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to remain effective under pressure.
