Job summary

Costa Navarino in Messinia, Greece, is seeking a Bartender to join our team. You will prepare and serve high-quality beverages and contribute to smooth daily bar operations, bringing beverage knowledge, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and participation in training, events, and Marriott-affiliated programs. English proficiency and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, cocktail bar or high-volume F&B operation is preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer; strong beverage knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency; good selling and upselling skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities; good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests, take orders accurately, apply selling techniques.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages per recipes and standards.
• Mix classic and signature cocktails; service of spirits, wine and beer.

We are looking for a Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while contributing to the smooth daily operation of the bar. You will combine beverage knowledge, attention to detail and strong organizational skills to deliver a consistent and memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner, take orders accurately and apply appropriate selling and upselling techniques.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to established recipes, presentation standards and service procedures.
• Prepare classic and signature cocktails and provide professional service of spirits, wine and beer.
• Organize daily bar mise en place and beverage production, ensuring readiness for high-volume service.
• Support the preparation and operation of large-scale events, banquets and special activations.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic workstation, including bar stations, coffee machines, grinders, refrigerators, storage and back-of-house areas.
• Follow opening, operating and closing procedures, relevant checklists and Brand Standards.
• Participate in company training and continuously stay updated on beverage and hospitality trends.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, cocktail bar or high-volume Food & Beverage operation is preferred.
• Knowledge or certification related to bartending, spirits or wine will be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of classic and signature cocktails, spirits, wine and beer, along with good knowledge of coffee.
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation techniques and bar equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Good selling and upselling skills.
• Good command of English.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
