Job summary

Costa Navarino is seeking a Team Leader, Front Office to guide the Front Office team, manage daily shift operations and ensure superior guest service. You will coordinate arrivals, departures and guest information while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel activities and VIP arrivals.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in Front Office, supervises a team of receptionists, and speaks Greek and English fluently. Marriott experience is an advantage in our multicultural, luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the hotel industry, including Front Office operations.
• Front Office experience in a team of more than 5 Receptionists.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism or Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Reception team, delegate daily tasks and ensure smooth shift operations.
• Prepare daily documentation and ensure accurate records of arrivals, departures and guest information.
• Welcome and assist guests in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Ensure continuous desk coverage and smooth handover between shifts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel status, room types, daily functions, events, VIPs and group arrivals.
• Handle first-level guest complaints, follow up on issues and elevate when required.
• Coordinate with Reservations and Housekeeping on changes or discrepancies, while supporting the training and performance of Front Office team members.

In this position, you will support the smooth operation of the Front Office department, guiding the team throughout the shift and ensuring high standards of guest service. You will coordinate daily activities and assist with guest requests and operational matters.

• Front Office experience in a team of more than 5 Receptionists.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism or Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in Marriott properties is an advantage.
• Strong team spirit and a high sense of responsibility.
