Airbus Defence and Space in Sevilla is seeking a skilled Supply Manager to lead aftermarket spare parts deliveries and coordination with suppliers. You will manage material flows, ensure on-time delivery, quality and cost targets, and support MRO and retrofit activities within the LTA In- Service zone.

The role requires an engineering degree, SAP knowledge, fluent English and advanced Spanish, plus strong communication and risk management skills in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Export control would be a plus.
• Experience in aviation aftermarket or services would be a plus.
• Education: Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• English: Negotiation level; Spanish: Advanced level.

Job Description

An opportunity for a Supply Manager (SM) for LTA ISS & MRO position has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the Services Supply Chain team within the Air Power Services area. This role is accountable within the assigned scope to ensure supplier’s deliveries (spares for A/C in Service) and to manage internal task force for customer protection. The scope is LTA In‑Service Support & MRO and the SM is the key interface with the suppliers to ensure all our Customers’ demand are covered avoiding operational impact.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract execution, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions.
• Be actively involved in the management of the material flows in order to ensure that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, on quality and on cost.
• Perform an effective control of supplier activities, securing a close understanding of supplier overall situation and scope.
• Demand management and ordering.
• Missing parts management and implementation of recovery plan with Suppliers.
• Management of IPLs and support coordination within SC Services and stakeholders.
• Support to MRO and Retrofit activities and all in service task force needed.
• Support improvement and development plan in order to secure delivery of the products and services in conformity with the contracts.
• Provide consolidated forecast to suppliers.
• Non-conformance management for containment (first closure) and support SCQM in root cause analysis.
• Export Control activities: export licence signature process, support Commodities to get export control classification declaration.
• Invoice management: ensure payment on time to the suppliers.

Requirements

• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Export control would be a plus.
• Experience in aviation aftermarket or services would be a plus.
• Education: Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• SAP knowledge, MS Office, Google Suite.
• English: Negotiation level.
• Spanish: Advanced level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks.
• Team spirit and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• High level of motivation and proactive mindset.
