Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe seeks a Commodity Manager Detail Parts Space Systems to lead the Sub-Commodity Multi-Functional Team, manage supplier relations and drive the strategy for Space Systems detail parts.

You will lead tenders, negotiate contracts, and ensure on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery across a global supplier base while promoting sustainability and resilience in a multicultural environment.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in an international environment.
• Strategic thinking with ability to see the big picture and synthesize.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince.
• Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks.
• Negotiation level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Sub-Commodity Multi-Functional Team (Sub-MFT).
• Serve as entry point to the company for commodity management.
• Support implementation of Space Systems Detail Parts commodity strategy.
• Secure long-term supplier relationships.
• Manage supply risks per procurement procedures.
• Lead tendering and supplier selection processes.
• Drive procurement/value creation projects for synergies and savings.
• Promote sustainability, innovation, resilience and global sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure on-time, on-quality, on-cost completion of supplier milestones.
• Lead supplier negotiations to meet program expectations.
• Set up and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Lead SED and action plans for strategic suppliers.
• Lead complex international projects within MFTs aligned to ADS strategy.
• Contribute to Geo Return strategy for Space Systems projects.
• Cascade Airbus integrity standards and deploy Code of Conduct.

Job Description:An opportunity for Commodity Manager Detail Parts Space Systems has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe.Tasks & responsibilities:Be accountable for leading the sub-MFT. Be the entry point to company for commodity management (per commodity products/services).Support the implementation of the Commodity strategy for Space Systems Detail PartsSecure long-term supplier relationshipsEnsure that risks related to the supply of products are managed in accordance with the Procurement proceduresLead the (Sub-) Commodity Multi-Functional TeamLead the tender and supplier selection processLead and contribute to Procurement / Value Creation projects & initiatives that aim at delivering synergies and savingsPromote Sustainability, Innovation, Resilience and Global Sourcing initiatives as enablers to secure the competitiveness of the Space Systems business lineContribute to the success of all Space Programmes by securing on time, on quality and on cost completion of all development milestones of the suppliers in portfolioLead negotiations with suppliers to assure program expectations are metSet-up and negotiate contractual agreements with suppliersLead Supplier Evaluation Development (SED) and define action plans to develop strategic suppliersLead complex and international projects in the frame of the corresponding MFTs, ensuring full alignment and contribution to the Airbus Defence and Space strategyEnsure contribution to fulfill company Geo Return strategy regarding Space Systems projectsEnsures cascade of the Airbus integrity standards across the supplier base, including the deployment of the Airbus Code of ConductRequirements :Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalentStrong interpersonal and communication skills in an international environmentStrategic thinking, ability to see the big picture and synthetizeExcellent negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convinceAble to anticipate, assess and mitigate risksNegotiation level of EnglishWHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?At Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
