Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Supply Officer to join the Supply Management team in Sevilla. The role focuses on coordinating supplier contracts, ensuring on-time performance, and managing quality and risk across the supply chain.

The candidate should have a aeronautical or industrial engineering background with 1–3 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and advanced English. A hybrid work model and strong development opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or related discipline.
• Experience: Junior level (1-3 years).
• Soft skills: Problem solving, analytical skills, MFT coordination.
• Languages: Advanced level in English.
• Technical: Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and data analysis.
• Nice to have: SAP MM knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Act as focal point towards suppliers for operational activities and contract management.
• Manage supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, ensuring on time delivery.
• Contain Non Conformities (L1) affecting customer protection and flows.
• Create and align quality inspection plans with SCQM and stakeholders.
• Provide consolidated forecasts to suppliers and assess capacity.
• Identify supplier risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead supplier performance improvement projects with development teams.
• Contribute to annual Supplier Evaluation Development (SED).
• Present supplier performance KPIs during MFT meetings or VRBs.

A job opportunity as Supply Officer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Tablada (Sevilla).

RESPONSABILITIES:

The successful candidate will join the Supply Management team. In your role as Supply Officer, you will:

• Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions.
• Manage supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for On Time, On Quality (and on Cost when applicable) performance.
• Manage Non Conformity containment (L1) in regards to customer protection and secondary flows.
• Identify the need and create/prepare/eradicate necessary quality inspection plans in close collaboration with SCQM and in alignment with stakeholders
• Provide consolidated forecast to suppliers and ensure that suppliers will have the required capacity. Assess the Supplier capacity, capability & performance and contribute to the Supplier development.
• Identify the supplier industrial risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Work out short term recovery plans and containment actions with the supplier.
• Inform and collaborate with SCQM- Supply Chain Quality Management and support root cause analysis, corrective & preventive actions and improvement measures.
• Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects, set long term development targets together with the suppliers and in coordination with the Supplier Development Team.
• Contribute to the annual Supplier Evaluation Development (SED).
• Present the situation of the supplier on operational performance (KPIs e.g. OTD-On Time Delivery) during MFT meetings and/or VRBs-Vendor Review Boards.
• Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites San Pablo North, to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or services.
• Ensure ethical & compliance way of working in accordance with the Airbus Code of Conduct.
