Job summary

Amazon Spain's ES Books Vendor Management team in Madrid is seeking a Retail Vendor Manager III to own a strategic publisher portfolio and drive selection, availability and profitability across print and digital. You will shape the annual agenda, negotiate terms, and manage the Joint Business Plan with top partners while ensuring strong vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Experience with financial modeling, P&L management or analysis.
• 5+ years in vendor management, buying or related commercial role.
• Strong negotiation experience with external partners.
• Advanced analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end commercial relationship for a portfolio of strategic publishers and trade partners.
• Propose annual and quarterly plans for your portfolio; track performance against targets.
• Lead annual vendor negotiations and manage the Joint Business Plan cadence.
• Build vendor relationships to improve listing, availability, and profitability across print and digital.
• Oversee catalog listings and onboarding of tail vendors through Amazon's systems and programs.
• Collaborate with In-Stock, finance, logistics and legal to optimize processes and performance.
• Act as SME for Print on Demand and scale POD for exports across markets.
