Job summary

PayPal is seeking a focused and collaborative Account Executive to drive new business, nurture relationships with senior decision-makers, and tailor solutions in a fast-paced payments environment.

You will analyze client needs, craft persuasive proposals, and work with solutions architects to identify products that meet merchant goals, ensuring seamless onboarding and contract execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in account management, client success, or sales.
• Knowledge of payments industry and fintech.

Responsibilities

• Pursue net new business through strategic prospecting and drive the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders during the initial sales cycle, acting as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' challenges.
• Analyze customer needs via discovery, articulate value, and develop strategies tailored to each organization, identifying potential products in collaboration with solutions architects.
• Deliver customized presentations, written proposals, and provide subject-matter expertise to drive forward new sales opportunities.
• Negotiate and close complex customer contracts, determining project scope, timeline, pricing, and agreements, ensuring seamless contract execution and customer onboarding.
