Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is seeking a proactive Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Consultant to strengthen Europe-focused outreach and mobilize financial and non-financial resources for development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. The role requires coordination with GPS and other IDB units to align with strategic priorities.

You will work from the Office in Europe, contributing to partnership cultivation, donor dialogue, and event organization, while supporting

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, International Development, International Relations, or equivalent, or other relevant fields.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in strategic outreach, partnership development or resource mobilization.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English; French/Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to IDB Group’s operations by strengthening partnerships, expanding alliances and mobilizing external resources.
• Identify co-financing opportunities with European partners to support IDB operations and priorities.
• Prepare senior management missions in Europe: identify partners, coordinate schedule, briefings, and follow‑ups.
• Organize and execute events and donor meetings; assist with design, legal and administrative processes and materials.
• Collaborate in EUR knowledge sharing, communications, and dissemination of best practices via multiple media.
