SumUp in Barcelona is seeking a dedicated Merchant Success Manager to own the full lifecycle of high-value merchant accounts, from onboarding to retention and growth, acting as the primary advisor and single point of contact. You will work with cross-functional teams to activate merchants, provide tailored training, upsell products, and monitor account metrics to maximize value.

The role requires strong sales capabilities, English and German proficiency, and a data-driven mindset.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience managing large accounts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and German.
• Interest in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong sales and upselling capabilities.
• Relationship management and proactive, customer-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct merchant discovery calls and ensure smooth activation.
• Deliver tailored product training remotely or onsite.
• Collaborate with field sales to ensure seamless deal closure and transition.
• Act as primary relationship manager to provide priority support and strategic consultations.
• Monitor transactional data and account metrics to identify growth or churn signals.
• Upsell and cross-sell SumUp products to merchants for expansion.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve merchant pain points.
• Proactively activate merchants and drive engagement to reach TPV targets.
• Conduct personalized trainings and retention activities to keep merchants satisfied.
• Execute ad-hoc growth campaigns to boost engagement and revenue opportunities.
