Job summary

SumUp Inc. in Barcelona is looking for a Junior Account Manager to drive revenue growth across an existing merchant portfolio. The ideal candidate will own merchant relationships, engage proactively to enhance transaction volumes, and negotiate pricing while meeting commercial targets.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Sales Development, Sales or Account Management.
• Experience in upselling and cross-selling in a B2B or Fintech environment is a strong plus.
• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of existing merchants and drive revenue growth.
• Proactively engage merchants to increase transaction volumes.
• Negotiate pricing and product adoption; identify upsell opportunities.
• Run churn-prevention and win-back campaigns.
• Work towards clear commercial targets and KPIs.
