Job summary

HBX Group, headquartered in Palma, Mallorca, seeks an M&A Senior Lead to drive inorganic growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and corporate development initiatives. You will lead complex transactions from origination to closing, coordinating with Legal, Tax, Finance, Strategy, and operations, while presenting to the Board.

The role demands analytical rigor, governance, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced publicly listed environment, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or equivalent.
• Proven track record leading complex M&A transactions from origination to completion.
• Experience advising senior executives and working with Boards.

Responsibilities

• Origination & Strategic Development: identify acquisition, investment and partnership opportunities aligned to strategic priorities.
• Transaction Leadership & Execution: lead end-to-end M&A transactions from assessment through closing, manage due diligence and structuring.
• Strategic Analysis & Board Support: develop financial analyses and investment recommendations for Senior Management and Board.
• Stakeholder Management: coordinate with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Strategy and Commercial teams; manage external advisers.
• Team Leadership: coach juniors, review analyses, contribute to process improvements and best practices.
