HBX Group in Madrid is seeking a Senior Category Manager for IT & Technology. You will lead strategic sourcing across software, cloud, and IT services, optimizing TCO and governing licensing for major platforms.
The role requires influencing senior leadership and aligning procurement with business roadmaps. Collaborate with IT, Architecture, Legal and Finance to mitigate cyber and compliance risk while delivering substantial savings.
Formación
- 7+ years in IT, systems architecture or indirect procurement with 5+ years IT strategy and supplier governance.
- Experience negotiating high-value IT and software contracts with global vendors.
- Proven RFx, SoW drafting and milestone-based contracting.
- Strong governance, risk and compliance knowledge (GDPR, ISO 27001).
Responsabilidades
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing across software, cloud, and IT services.
- Define category strategies aligned to business priorities and roadmaps.
- Negotiate enterprise IT contracts with major vendors (ERP, CRM, cloud).
- Mentor junior category managers and procurement colleagues.
- Partner with Legal, Security and Finance to ensure compliant outcomes.
- Produce executive spend dashboards and monitor SaaS, cloud pricing trends.
