Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner in Madrid to partner with managers and employees across employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workforce planning. You will ensure labor law compliance, support data-driven decision-making, and drive HR process improvements and digital transformation while contributing to a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, Law, HR, Psychology, or related field.
• 3-5 years in HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
• Solid knowledge of employment law and employee relations practices.
• Availability to work on a fixed-temp contract for a minimum of 12 Months.
• Experience managing disciplinary processes, terminations, collective bargaining interpretation, and manager coaching.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and HR administration.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR queries.
• Advise managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and difficult conversations.
• Guide managers on policies and people management best practices.
• Offer ongoing support to employees regarding workplace experience and career development.
• Manage employee relations cases with compliance.
• Lead disciplinary processes, investigations, and terminations.
• Prepare employment-related documentation.
• Act as mediator in workplace disputes and ensure fair handling.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement.
