Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic category management, drive global sourcing, and manage complex contracts. You will build commodity strategies, implement procurement policies, and monitor supplier performance in a cross-functional environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, strong negotiation and stakeholder management, and offers a hybrid working arrangement where possible.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in strategic category management.
• Experience in global sourcing and complex contract negotiation.
• Analytical skills with data-driven decision-making.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for leading the MFT/MDT (with possible delegation to Buyer).
• Be the entry point to company for commodity management (per commodity products/services).
• Establish, implement and improve commodity strategy.
• Implement the Procurement policy.
• Performs market analysis (global sourcing including offsets).
• Manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc…) & contract management.
• Contributes in monitoring & improving supplier performance: Identifies & leads value creation project and support product /service innovation; Sustains long term relationships with suppliers; Ensure risk management
