Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Commodity Manager in Getafe (Madrid) to join the Strategic Sourcing Team. The role focuses on end-to-end strategic sourcing, TCO reductions, risk mitigation, and building high-value partnerships to support long-term goals.

The candidate will design category strategies, lead negotiations, manage SRM, and work with multiple departments to integrate business needs into sourcing plans, with a hybrid working model where possible.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in strategic category management, global sourcing, and complex contract negotiation.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership with ability to influence across org.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and analytics skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement long-term category strategies and sourcing roadmaps aligned with objectives.
• Lead complex negotiations on pricing, terms, and SLAs to deliver cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance reviews.
• Conduct market intelligence to anticipate price volatility and trends.
• Mitigate supply chain risks with contingency plans for continuity and security.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Finance, Programs, and Operations to align needs with sourcing strategy.
